NEW ORLEANS — NOPD is investigating a triple shooting, this evening in the St. Claude area.
3 people were injured in the shooting including an 8-year-old boy that happened in the 1200 block of Marias Street at the intersection of Piety Street.
Residents reported they heard close to 20 shots ring out. When first responders arrived they found 3 people had been shot.
One victim was shot in the chest and 2 others suffered graze wounds. All are in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
