Tickets on sale for Who Dat Nation Rally & Music Festival, more acts announced

You can now buy tickets to the Official Who Dat Nation Rally & Music Festival the weekend before the Saints open the NFL season.

It aims to bring thousands of fans together to rally for the 2019 season.

"Fans will enjoy great music, food, beverages, and arts & crafts," organizers said in a news release. "The two-day event will take place September 7&8, just one day before the start of the season. The location is on the grounds of the Jefferson Performing Arts Center and LaSalle Park, all adjacent to the training facility."

Officials have also announced that Prince's band, New Power Generation has joined the lineup; along with Cowboy Mouth, George Porter Jr.and Runnin Pardners, and Louis Prima Jr.

They had previously released the following lineup:

· The Guess Who (requires VIP ticket)· Blood Sweat & Tears (requires VIP ticket)· Family Stone· The Producers· The Topcats· Atlanta Rhythm Section

Other perfomers will include Michael O'hara - the Sheik, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Lost Bayou Ramblers, All for One Brass Band, Tribal Gold, Honey Island Swamp Band, and "the biggest Who Dat Nation rally ever."

Organizers say there will be music on two outdoor stages, included with the price of admission, and concerts inside the JPAC that will require an additional ticket purchase.  Those buying tickets to the indoor shows, however, also get admission to the festival included.

General admission adult tickets are $30 for one day and $45 for two days.General admission for children 13 - 18 are $10 for one day and $15 for both days.Children 12 and under are free.

VIP tickets to see the Guess Who on Saturday night are $60 - $90 and include passes to the general admission areas of the event.VIP tickets to see Blood Sweat and Tears on Sunday are also $60 - $90 and include passes to the general admission areas of the event.

Free parking is available to all ticketholders.

Food will be available for purchase at more than 20 food booths.Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be for sale.

No outside food or drink is permitted.
