Ticket prices to see LSU play in the SEC tournament are higher this year than last year

For LSU Tiger fans planning on going to the SEC Tournament in Nashville, it'll cost you a bit more this year.

According to TickPick, the SEC is the third hottest ticket of all the power conference tournaments with an average listing price of $1,150 for an all-session pass -- up 43% from last year ($805).

"Depending on what happens, if LSU would advance to the semifinals that's also going to cause those prices to fluctuate," said Kyle Zorn, marketing strategist with TickPick.

Still cheaper than the ACC Tournament, the average price for those tickets are going for about 28 hundred a ticket.  Zorn says their seeing higher prices even early on but a good idea for LSU fans is to buy your tickets now.

"The best advice I could give for an LSU fan looking to see them win their championship is to buy a championship session now, where as if some of these better teams advance to the championship that might drive prices up," Zorn said.  "But it is definitely worth making the trip up (to Nashville) it should be a very exciting tournament."

The SEC will represent well with LSU, Kentucky, and Tennessee all in the top 10.

And its something Tiger fans may really be interested in since its a shorter commute, being held in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
