Still no word from a federal judge concerning that lawsuit filed against the NFL on the outcome of the NFC Championship game.
The suit filed by 2 Saints season ticket holders upset with the outcome of the game between the Saints and Rams is calling for the NFL to invoke a rule that could result in a do-over of the game. But now with just days before the Super Bowl, is it too late?
WWL legal analyst Doug Sunseri says it is getting very late in the game.
"I think that every second that passes by, it's another nail in the coffin for the season ticket holders," Sunseri said.
Sunseri believes the judge already know what she want to rule in the case.
"If she was going to do something, she would have probably have done it before, but I think there is a 0.01 percent chance of the season ticket holders prevailing anyway," Sunseri added. "I do think that she wants to make sure that her opinion is very well reasoned since it's going to be read by the entire nation."
In football terms, Sunseri said at this point..
"It's less than 2 minutes to go, and it's like the quarterback is falling on the ball and time is going to run out," Sunseri noted.
