Two New Orleans Catholic schools that have served special-needs students, one Uptown and one in Metairie, will merge on a single campus in Metairie next school year, The New Orleans Advocate reports.

Holy Rosary and Our Lady of Divine Providence will combine to become St. Thérèse Academy for Exceptional Learners. The new campus will be at the current Divine Providence campus on North Atlanta Street.
