The United Way is asking Louisiana families how is the COVID-19 crisis impacting them financially.
Louisiana Association of United Ways President Sarah Berthelot says the answers will help United Way determine what kind of assistance families need.
"It brings them to 25 question survey that asks them about job changes, child care access changes, how their savings and assets have been depleted," said Berthelot. "We channel donated resources, donated funds, programs and other opportunities that solve the most urgent problems."
Berthelot said the survey takes about ten minutes, and they already have about a thousand responses since it went online Tuesday.
