USA Network says‘Queen of the South’ series is moving from Dallas to New Orleans

Hollywood South is gaining yet another TV production.

The USA Network has announced its dramatic series "Queen of the South" will be shooting its fourth season in New Orleans.

According to the Louisiana Entertainment film office, production will run from Feb. 13 to 25.

The show stars Alice Braga as a Mexican woman who escapes her life of poverty by building a drug empire.

Most of the show’s first three seasons were shot mostly in Dallas.

The fourth season is expected to consist of 13 episodes that will begin airing in June.

One other USA Network show has already been filming in New Orleans.

Louisiana Entertainment says "The Purge” is set to return to the city for its second season, and will shoot from mid-April to mid-August.
