More workers say they're being made to feel guilty about taking time off from work, by their co-workers, or even their boss!
The survey found 48 percent of workers saying their boss, or co-workers, have tried to make them feel bad about taking time away from work, up from 41 percent a year ago.
"I think that's a bad idea, all the way around," said UNO business professor Mark Rosa. "I don't think that's good for morale, I don't think that's good for employee relations, human resources, or the company in general."
Rosa says if things are that busy a the office, it's on the bosses to make sure they can handle having a few people away at a time.
"It's really the responsibility of the managers to program that as the year goes on and allow people some recharge time," said Rosa.
The survey found 28 percent of workers saying they're taking shorter vacations, and 26 percent say they're taking fewer vacations.
