Rain and a cold front are blowing into Southeast Louisiana.
"An increase in cloud cover and some showers are expected Saturday afternoon and evening," WWL-TV Meteorologist Chris Franklin forecast. "Only anticipating about a 40% chance with not a great deal of accumulation."
He says after the rain, it gets colder.
"This rainfall will be ahead of a cold front, dropping temps back into the 50s."
He says, however, it will hit 70 Saturday before temps start dropping.
So what about Sunday before the 3:40pm Saints game in the Superdome?
"Jackets needed for tailgating as the chill will be enhanced thanks to a breeze from the north and not much sunshine."
