Here’s five things to know from the victory:

Revenge: The Pelicans dropped lost 139-134 to the Timberwolves earlier this month. In that loss, the Pelicans shot just 59.3 percent from the free-throw line. Sunday the Pelicans shot nearly 68 percent from the line.

Better defense: Minnesota shot 55.7 percent from the floor including 41.2 percent from 3 in their victory in New Orleans earlier this month. The Pelicans held the Timberwolves to 39.4 percent fro three and just 24.2 percent from three Sunday.

Holiday’s big afternoon: Jrue Holiday scored a season-high 37 points  on 13-of-20 shooting and nearly had his second triple-double of the month against the Timberwolves adding nine rebounds and eight assists.

Zion big again: After having his streak of 20-point games snapped in Friday’s win against the Heat, Pelicans rookie forward Zion Williamson scored 23 Sunday.

Ball’s hot shooting continues: Pelicans guar Lonzo Ball continued his streak of hot shooting going 4-of-8 from the three-point line. Through four games in March, Ball is shooting 51.4 percent from three.
