Clyde Edwards-Helaire to enter the NFL draft

LSU’s leading rusher Clyde Edwards-Helaire has declared for the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Baton Rouge native tweeted his announcement Wednesday night.

He joins fellow LSU underclassman Grant Delpit, Lloyd Cushenberry, Patrick Queen, Saahdiq Charles and Jacob Phillips as players declaring for the draft.

Edwards-Helaire was a team captain for the Tigers and earned first-team All-SEC selection as he rushed for 1,414 yards and 16 touchdowns as well as caught 55 passes for 453 yards.
