Stages are being constructed and signs are going up around New Orleans as preparations for the College Football Playoff Championship game are finalized.
The matchup between No. 1 LSU and No. 3 Clemson takes place Monday night but prior to kickoff there will be several events for fans to enjoy including a series of free concerts in Woldenberg Park, AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!
The event features a free concert series beginning Saturday, Jan. 11 up to the national championship game on Monday, Jan. 13.
Saturday’s performers include two-time Grammy Winner H.E.R. and rap icon Nas. Sunday is headlined by Meghan Trainor, Bastille and New Orleans own Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.
