Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel honored a New Orleans nurse who's been on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kimmel recognized med-surge nurse Jennell Melancon from the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans as a "#HealthCareHero" for her work with COVID-19 patients. Kimmel host Melancon on his show via video chat along with Jumanji star Jack Black and the two surprised her with a $10,000 Postmates gift card and additional gift cards for all the nurses in her department.
