LSU is set for its second 11 a.m. kickoff of the season when the Tigers return from their bye week Oct. 5 to host Utah State, The SEC Network announce Monday.

The Bayou Bengals kicked off early last week and had a memorable performance in their 66-38 win at Vanderbilt.

Quarterback Joe Burrow, in particular, shined in the early game and added another record to his already historic season as he was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Burrow completed 25-of-34 passes for 398 yards and a school-record six touchdowns in the win at Vanderbilt, which pushed the Tigers to 4-0, and became just the third LSU quarterback to win the award three times in the same year.

Tommy Hodson secured the honor three times in 1989 and JaMarcus Russell accomplished the feat in 2006.

Burrow won the award after throwing five touchdown passes in the regular season opener while essentially playing just the first half. He was also named offensive player of the week in the Tigers’ Week 2 matchup against Texas.

The second-year starter has been re-writing LSU’s record books this season. He became the first player in LSU history to throw for 350 yards or more in three straight games. He has more completions (100), passing yards (1,520) and passing touchdowns (17) than any player in school history through four games. And he’s helped LSU score more points through the first four games of a season than any other team in school history.

He’ll look to continue breaking records when Tigers return from their bye week to face Utah State Oct. 5 at 11 a.m.
