LSU dropped to No. 2 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings as the committee moved Ohio State into the top spot.
The Tigers are coming off of a 56-20 win against Arkansas while Ohio State defeated a rnaked Penn State team.
The Tigers spent the last two weeks at No. 1 after defeating the then 3rd-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. LSU (11-0, 7-0) was second in the initial poll.
Ohio State had the top spot in the first poll. Clemson and Georgia held at No. 3 and 4, respectively.
Alabama remained at No. 5 while Utah moved into the sixth spot after Oregon's loss to Arizona State.
