The New Orleans Saints selected Mississippi State quarterback Tommy Stevens in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Stevens is the Saints fourth selection in this year's draft joining Michigan offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz, Wisconsin linebacker Zach Baun and Dayton tight end Adam Trautman.
The Saints had initially traded their day three picks to move back into the third round and select Trautman, but made a move into the seventh round to take Stevens with the 240th pick overall.
The 6-foot-5, 235 pound prospect transfered to the Bulldogs after starting his college career at Penn State. He completed 60.2 percent of his passes in 2019 for 1,155 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions (136.9 rating) in his nine starts.
More to come.
