Former LSU receiver Justin Jefferson was already considered one of the top receivers heading into this year's draft after a productive college career.
The 6-foot-3, 192-pound prospect caught 111 passes for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns whole helping the Tigers win a national championship.
But the former Destrehan standout likely improved his draft stock Thursday after running a blistering 40-yard dash at the NFL's Scouting Combine.
Jefferson was clocked at a 4.43 in the 40-yard dash which was the sicth fasted time of any reciever prospect.

— NFL (@NFL) February 27, 2020Jefferson wasn't the only receiver prospect with Louisiana ties to post an impressive 40-yard dash. Tulane's Darnell Mooney posted a 4.38 in the 40 which was the third fastest time.
