The sting of the NOLA no-call has subsided a bit for the Saints and All-Pro defensive end Cameron Jordan, now the focus is rebounding this season. “I would love to tell you we’re going to be 19-0 and win the Super Bowl. I could care less how that pans out,” said an enthusiastic Jordan.
The more likely scenario is the Saints will not go through the season undefeated. “I could care less how it gets done. The end goal is going to be the Super Bowl. So however that works, that’s the mentality, it’s to win the Super Bowl,” Jordan added.
The Saints defensive captain dished on a few other things, even weighing in on rule changes from the NFL Owners Meetings that included expanding instant replay to include pass interference calls or no calls. Cam’s take? “I don’t see how that’s helping me in February,” Jordan quipped.
