The East Bank Little League World Champs are in high demand.

These 12-year-old young men have captured a region’s heart and every move they make is followed like a Hollywood star’s.

Everywhere they go, the young baseball stars are hounded for pictures and autographs.

“I think I’ve signed over a thousand in the past week” the team’s leadoff hitter Derek Delatte II said.

Even at school, Delatte and his teammates have enjoyed the celebrity treatment. His first day of class after returning from the World Series confirmed that.

“Right when I walked in the gate the whole school was standing there congratulating me,” he said.

Mardi Gras Krewes have asked them to ride in parades. The Saints and LSU have invited them to games.

But the coolest invite since becoming World Champs?

“Donald Trump when he invited us to White House,” Delatte said.
