Former LSU TE Foster Moreau drafted by Raiders

Former LSU tight end Foster Moreau was selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders.

Moreau, a native of New Orleans who also attended Jesuit High School, was selected with the No. 137 pick by the Raiders.  He was the ninth tight end selected in this year's draft.

A guy with high-end speed, Moreau impressed at the combine with a 4.66 40-yard dash.  He will need to improve his ability to separate from defenders as well as his run blocking skills to succeed in the NFL

Moreau spent four seasons at LSU and compiled 52 receptions for 629 yards and six touchdowns in his college career.
