Brandon Ingram earns All-Star honors

In his first year as a member of the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram has been named to the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. The forward is averaging career-highs in points per game, three-point field goal percentage, free throw percentage, rebounds and assists per game.

The 22-year-old is the eighth player in New Orleans franchise history to be selected to the event.  He joins Chris Paul, Anthony Davis, David West, Jamal Mashburn, Baron Davis, Jamaal Magloire and DeMarcus Cousins.

The Lakers LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks are team captains this year and will draft a roster from the pool of players in each conference.  The lineups will be revealed on TNT in a NBA All-Star Draft special on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. The All-Star Game tips-off February 16 at the United Center in Chicago.
