Saints players will be going through full padded practices starting Monday, with week one against Tampa Bay on September 13th closing in. But, players have been doing everything possible to shy away from contact in the acclimation period of being back in the facility.
Dividers in the locker room along with social distancing monitors are just a few examples. Tight end Jared Cook feels comfortable though getting back to real football.
“The good thing is having confidence in being on the field,” said Cook. “Everybody has tested negative. We haven't had any positive cases in the building, so they're really doing everything they can in the locker room, and around the halls in order to ensure there is no spread and that everything is cleaned.”
