Since Sheldon Rankins suffered a torn Achilles last game against the Eagles the Saints were in the market for some help at the defensive tackle position. Ian Rapoprt of the NFL Network tweets that Tyrunn Walker is joining the Black & Gold.

Walker started his NFL career in New Orleans as an undrafted free agent out of Tulsa in 2012. The New Iberia native spent 3 seasons with the Saints before leaving to play for the Lions then Rams. He was with the Buffalo Bills at the start of 2018 but was released prior to week one of the regular season.
The 6ft4, 310 pound DT has appeared in 58 career games and has tallied 85 tackles with 4.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 2 fumbles forced, 2 fumbles recovered and 5 passes defended.
