Rams corner Marcus Peters loves to talk and and has gotten into some sideline chatter with Saints head coach Sean Payton during the regular season and also in Sunday’s NFC championship. In week 9, Peters wasn’t too happy with Payton’s comments about liking the match-up of him guarding Michael Thomas and was looking forward to grabbing a bowl of gumbo with Sean.

Peters and the Rams got their revenge, knocking the Saints out the postseason and was more than happy to proclaim that Payton was the reason for the loss, not the missed pass interference/helmet-to-helmet play against Tommylee Lewis.

#Rams Marcus Peters on #Saints anger over blown pass interference: “If they coach run the football on first and second down, they probably ain’t even going to be sitting here talking about this. ... You give Sean McVay the ball back with 1:43 or something, we’re going to score.”

Peters celebrated on the Superdome field after LA’s win chanting "Big Gumbo! Big Gumbo!”, but then in the locker room said he doesn't really like gumbo. He likes goulash. Can’t wait for the rematch in the regular season next season. We don’t know the date yet, but the Saints will play in Los Angles in 2019...SPICY!
