Saints offensive lineman Andrus Peat had a rough game in the win against the Eagles, and ESPN's Adam Schefter's report explains a lot. He tweeted that Peat broke his hand during the regular season finale against the Panthers and had surgery during New Orlaans' playoff bye week.
Saints’ left guard Andrus Peat struggled Sunday, but there’s a reason for it. Peat broke his hand during the Saints’ final regular-season game, underwent surgery during the bye week, then played Sunday vs. Eagles through serious pain, per source.

Peat was flagged four times against Philadelphia, jumping Drew Brees' snaps to try and gain any kind of edge over defenders. Hopefully, Peat can get some more treatment and rest this week leading up to Sunday's NFC championship. It will be a tough go against the Los Angeles Rams, who have Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh and Michael Brockers along their defensive line to contend with.
