Andrus Peat was coming into camp with a new five-year, $57.5 million extension along with a slimmed down body, but the injury bug has bit the guard early on, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

August 18, 2020 Nick Easton took Peat’s place at right guard at practice on Monday. The Saints are off today take the field again Wednesday morning. Peat could be back in time for the season opener on September 13th against Tampa Bay.
