Cam Jordan has never missed a game in his 9 year NFL career, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t played hurt.  The Saints All-Pro defensive end told NFL Network’s Michael Silver that he tore a muscle week 14 against San Francisco, played the rest of the season with the injury, then had surgery following the Super Bowl.

Saints DE Cam Jordan played the final 5 games of the season (& the Pro Bowl) with an adductor muscle that tore off the bone--an injury suffered in the Dec. 8 defeat to the 49ers. He had core muscle surgery 2 days after the Super Bowl and should be fully recovered by training camp
