The Saints were back at practice and had two new addition on the field. Linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong has been added to the active roster, while wide receiver Krishawn Hogan was added to the practice squad.
Armstrong has been in the NFL since 2013 going undrafted out of Miami. The 6ft3, 220 pound 28 year old spent last season with the Giants and Browns an finished with 26 tackles, along with 2 tackles for in 15 games. Hogan is another undrafted product out of Marian University. The 6ft2, 222 pound pass catcher ended up on injured reserve after suffering a torn ACL in week 5 with the Colts. He appeared in 2 games but still has not registered a catch in the NFL.
The Saints have also promoted Lil’Jordan Humphrey from the practice squad to the active roster. Humphrey had some big moments in the preseason and now gets an opportunity with Keith Kirkwood going on IR yesterday.
