Happy New Year NFL fans! The 2020 league year is officially off and running with free agency going full throttle. The Saints have restructured the deals of wide receiver Michael Thomas and left tackle Terron Armstead to open up more cap space to work with.
They ranked second and third on the Black & Gold for cap hits this coming season. Armstead carried a $16 million salary cap hit, with $10.7 million tied to his base salary, while Thomas is due to count $15 million vs. the cap, with $11 million in base salary.
