The man who has thrown more touchdowns, more yards and has the highest completion percentage in NFL history was not named to the NFL 100 All-Time Team that was announced Friday night on the NFL Network. The roster was selected by a committee made up 26 coaches, executives, former players and members of the media.
The 10 quarterbacks who did make the team are:
Tom BradySammy Baugh John ElwayBrett FavreOtto GrahamPeyton ManningDan MarinoJoe MontanaRoger StaubachJonny Unitas
There are a number of analysts and fanbases perplexed on how Brees is not among these QBs. The New Orleans Saints even tweeted out a knee-slapping response:

— New Orleans Saints (@Saints) December 28, 2019Maybe a 2nd Super Bowl ring would help cement Brees' greatest in the minds of some others. The Saints close out the regular season Sunday in Carolina looking to secure a first round bye in the postseason. They are currently 3rd in the NFC and need losses from the Packers and/or 49ers for any shot of obtaining higher seeding.
