Naz Reid, Tremont Waters and now Skylar Mays have announced that they have declared to enter this NBA draft. Mays is a Baton rouge native, and posted a thank you to fans on social media.

April 5, 2019 Mays finished his 3rd season with the Tigers averaging 13 points and 3 rebounds per game. His basketball and academic skills earned him a first-team selection on the CoSIDA Academic All-America team Mays also was tabbed the SEC scholar athlete of the year and was a second team selection on the all-conference team.
