I’d like to know if Franklin Roosevelt, in this age of identity theft, hacking and ransomware, would STILL think the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. I would doubt it.
What’s most disturbing to me is the thought that my identity could have been stolen stolen two years ago and I won’t find out about it until 2024. By then a lot of damage will have been done, and so many steps will be required to fix it. At that point, I’ll just walk away and live off the landed in some secluded forest. Then all my worries will be over with. I was raised in a suburban environment and don’t know much about survival in the woods, so I’ll probably lose consciousness in a few days and my identity will be the least of my concerns.
