What should have been a happy, momentous occasion devolved into a shouting match with a nurse and a doctor after a man welcomed his first child into the world.
Apparently, the guy's son was born December 31 at 11:05 pm. However, when filling out the birth certificate the new father put the time of birth as January 1 at 12:05 am. He had no desire for his child to be born in 2020, and have a constant reminder of the horrible year that was.
We understand the father's reasoning, but a birth certificate is an OFFICIAL document, and with tax matters on the line, we apologize but your kid has to be born in that horrible year.
