They say dogs often take on the personalities of their owners, but apparently it goes much further than that. A video of a dog showing its injured owner some compassion went viral recently and it has many online gushing.
In the video, the dog walks with a limp, matching that of its owner, even though nothing was wrong with its leg.
Russell Jones shared a video of his dog’s fake limp on Facebook recently, and it has since been shared over 25,000 times.
According to Jones, who is seen in the video walking on crutches with a bandaged leg, he took the dog to the vet thinking something was wrong with its leg as well. "Nothing wrong, just sympathy," wrote Jones in his now viral post.
The dog is seen in the short clip hopping with one paw raised. Many online couldn’t believe the dog’s compassion, claiming this to be proof that dogs truly are man’s best friend. Hopefully the man gets well soon so his dog can get back to walking normally.
