The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival today unveiled the daily music lineups, and announced that single-day tickets are now on sale.
The fests's lineup this year includes Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons, Santana, Dead & Company, and hundreds more.
Lizzo headlines opening Friday, April 28, a day that will also feature Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Big Freedia, Wu-Tang Clan, and Tank and the Bangas. Ed Sheeran, the Steve Miller Band, and The Revivalists play the following Saturday, and opening weekend is rounded out by Kenny Loggins, Los Lobos, Jill Scott, and Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk.
The fest's second slate begins Thursday, May 4, with the likes of Santana, Cowboy Mouth, Rockin' Dopsie Jr. & the Zydeco Twisters, and Buddy Guy headlining. Jon Batiste, Ludacris, and Irma Thomas perform the following Friday. Dead & Company is featured Saturday, May 6, and the fest closes out on the first Sunday in May with Mumford & Sons, Tom Jones, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Melissa Etheridge, and more.
Performance times and stages, commonly known as "the cubes," will be announced next month.
