CBS' NCIS: New Orleans is coming to an end after seven seasons of shooting in the Crescent City.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the final episode will air May 16.
"Sad to end our love affair with this phenomenal city but so grateful for all the friends we made along the way," THR quotes series star Scott Bakula. "I will miss the music. Big thank you to CBS for seven years."
NCIS: New Orleans made plenty of use of its backdrop, from shows set during Mardi Gras to characters appearing in red dresses after having participated in the annual Red Dress run.
The NCIS franchise will soon launch a new Hawaii-based spinoff, while NCIS: Los Angeles is still going, and the flagship NCIS series awaits star Mark Harmon's decision on whether he wants to continue for a 19th season.
