The “Blinding Lights” singer and his team was part of a lengthy Billboard profile where it was revealed  he’s put $7 million of his own money into the show.

“We’ve been really focusing on dialing in on the fans at home and making performances a cinematic experience, and we want to do that with the Super Bowl,” The Weeknd said. Part of the reason he’s pouring in millions of dollars is to “make this halftime show be what he envisioned,” his manager Wassim Slaiby says.

While rumors of special guests and tracklist have been circulating around the internet, The Weeknd has yet to confirm or deny any of it.

Among the rumored guests are Ariana Grande, Daft Punk, and Kendrick Lamar, all artists The Weeknd has collaborated with in the past.

One aspect of the show that is confirmed is the overall length of the performance. Billboard’s profile issued the following correction: “A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that The Weeknd’s Super Bowl halftime performance would be 24 minutes long. As in previous years, it will be roughly 12-13 minutes long.”

The 12-13 minute performance will allow ample time for The Weeknd to run through plenty of his hits. Traditionally, artists have opted to perform truncated versions of their biggest hits as the show lends itself to a medley-type format.

While it remains to be seen if The Weeknd will follow in that style, we’ve put together a list of 15 songs we’d like The Weeknd to perform when he takes the Super Bowl halftime show stage.
