(SportsRadio 610) - Game three of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies has officially been postponed until Tuesday due to the weather conditions.

Major League Baseball spent much of the afternoon monitoring the weather in Philadelphia, where there is rain in the forecast. Citizens Bank Park, where the Phillies play, does not have a retractable roof like Minute Maid Park in Houston.

So any baseball game there is at the mercy of weather in the area.

Game three moves to Tuesday, sliding the entire World Series schedule back a day.

The series is tied at one game apiece after the team's split over the weekend in Houston. Lance McCullers Jr. is still set to start game three. Astros manager Dusty Baker confirmed Cristian Javier will start game four, as planned.
