It has been a tale of two seasons for Odell Beckham Jr.
After struggling the first half with the Browns and essentially forcing himself out of Cleveland, Beckham was scoring the first touchdown in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday to give the Los Angeles Rams a 7-0 lead.
Matthew Stafford connected with the receiver on third-and-3 for a 17-yard touchdown as Beckham got up in the air to haul in the catch and then celebrated with a moonwalk.
Following the touchdown catch Beckham was trending on Twitter along with another familiar name — his former quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Prior to Beckham’s ouster in Cleveland, his father posted a YouTube video that was critical of Mayfield, showing instances where his son was open but Beckham did not throw the ball in his direction.
So, with Beckham playing to his potential on the biggest stage, it led to many on Twitter making jokes about Mayfield.
