Some doubt Pels fire, but don't really want the smoke

As the New Orleans Pelicans enter the second half of the regular season and continue to carve out a playoff position, it seems some don't believe in their fire power.

However, Editor in Chief of the Bird Writes, Oleh Kosel says that teams in the league really don't want the smoke.

“Even last year teams didn’t want this team to advance deep into the playoffs. Now, they have discovered their fire power. I wouldn’t want to face this team.

The Pels stand at no.6 in the Western Conference with a record of 33-22; a decent playoff position.

But that didn’t stop Draymond Greene, whose Golden State Warriors are 10th in the conference, from saying in a live broadcast,

“Ain’t nobody worried about the Pelicans.”

Kosel says tough talk is who Greene is but the bottom line: the Pelicans are playing their best ball ever.

“They are shaping up to have one of their best seasons in franchise history.”

The Pelicans next game is Thursday, Feb. 22nd when they host the Houston Rockets in the Smoothie King.
