For LSU athletic director and baseball coach Skip Bertman has been hospitalized due to the rhinovirus, according to a report from WAFB.
The Baton Rouge news station reports that Bertman who retired as LSU’s athletic director in 2008 does not have COVID-19.
Bertman reportedly checked in to the hospital Tuesday.
The 82-year old served as the Tigers’ athletic director from 2001 to 2008. Prior to that he coached LSU baseball team from 1984 to 2001 where he guided the team to five NCAA College World Series championships.
