Former LSU point guard Alexis Morris made waves on social media when she suggested that the older players in the WNBA should simply give up their roster spots for rookies.
Morris was selected #22 overall in the WNBA Draft after helping steer LSU to its first ever national championship in women's basketball, but she didn't make the cut on the Connecticut Suns' roster, despite their selection of her.
Morris is expected to begin her professional career overseas.
After some pushback on social media, Morris deleted her controversial tweets.
