After falling to Iowa in an instant classic rematch that featured a 41-point explosion by Iowa's Caitlin Clark, both LSU head coach Kim Mulkey and star Angel Reese took some extra time in the handshake line.

With the rivalry between the two players under the microscope for the better part of the last year, the exchange was examined in the post-game news conference.

“She just told me continue to be a great player," Reese said, logging 17 points and 20 rebounds before fouling out, "And I told her continue to be a great player as well and keep elevating the game. Go win it.”

And how about LSU's coach as she shared a moment with the Hawkeyes superstar?
