When people say that LSU fans take over Omaha whenever LSU finds its way to the College World Series, they aren't just talking about Jell-O shot totals.
This year that included a Mike the Tiger Mardi Gras float that made the 15-hour drive and is now a mainstay of tailgates outside of Charles Schwab Field. The float is 13.5 feet high and 31 feet long, according to a report from The Advocate, designed by Kern Studios.

The float is towed by a white truck emblazoned with the words "Geauxing Back to Omaha."
The actual Tigers take the field for the first time Saturday in their half of the College World Series bracket, facing off with a familiar rival in Arkansas. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. Catch all the action on WWL.
