Three rounds, three LSU players headed to NFL teams. The latest was Tigers cornerback Cordale Flott, who landed with the New York Giants at the 81st pick overall.
Flott was the second LSU cornerback off the board behind Derek Stingley Jr. at No. 3 overall to the Houston Texans, and Ed Orgeron Ingram to the Minnesota Vikings at No. 59.
Flott's draft stock likely was elevated greatly by Stingley's absence, which allowed the other names in the secondary to shine. Flott rolled up 40 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception in his senior season.
