Kim Mulkey and LSU might be in Dallas this week, but they'll be greeted by some familiar faces -- their own.
The same will be true for anyone driving around Waco, Texas and Mulkey's former Baylor stomping grounds, with LSU buying billboards featuring the head coach, along with players Alexis Morris, Angel Reese and Flau'Jae Johnson.

LSU is no stranger to billboards, often putting up the advertisements to celebrate school achievements, though they'll typically be isolated to the local market and/or where the team is currently residing. And they aren't afraid to throw some shade when necessary. In this case, that shade lives less than 2 miles away from the Baylor campus where she engineered four previous trips to the final four, including three championships.
Here are a few more examples:
The LSU women arrived in Dallas on Tuesday as they prepare for their first Final Four appearance since 2008. They'll meet No. 1 seed Virginia Tech at 6 p.m., Friday (ESPN).
The game will mark a step up in competition for LSU, who blew out 11th seed Hawaii and 6th seed Michigan before outlasting 2nd seeded Utah in the Sweet Sixteen. They got a slight reprieve in an upset heavy tournament, drawing 9th-seeded Miami, coming out ahead in a low-scoring, drag-out affair to punch their Final Four ticket.
The winner of Friday's game will face the winner of 1. South Carolina-2. Iowa on the other half of the bracket, with the championship to be played on Sunday. It's a near certainty there are more potential billboards in the works should that potential future become reality.
