LSU tumbles, Tulane rises in latest polls

A two touchdown loss to Alabama has sent LSU plummeting in the latest college football polls.

After falling 42-28 to the Crimson Tide on Saturday night, the Tigers fell five spots to 18 in the Associated Press Writers’ Poll. LSU fell even farther in the AFCA Coaches Poll, tumbling six spots to 19.

Meanwhile, Tulane’s 13-10 win over East Carolina helped them move into the Top 20 for the first time this year. The Green Wave moved up one spot to 20 in both the AP and AFCA polls.
