LSU enjoyed a robust showing throughout the Southeastern Conference’s women’s basketball honors, led by Angel Reese being named 2024 SEC Player of the Year.

Reese also earned first-team All-SEC honors and was named to the All-Defensive Team as well.

One of the biggest stars in all of college sports, “Bayou Barbie” was joined on the first team by her LSU teammate Aneesah Morrow.

Flau’jae Johnson was voted second-team All-SEC and Mikaylah Williams was named SEC Freshman of the Year.

Williams was also voted to the conference’s All-Freshman team where she was joined by Tiger teammate Aalyah Del Rosario.

In taking home Player of the Year, Reese becomes just the third LSU player to earn the honor, joining Seimone Augustus and Sylvia Fowles.
Reese averaged 19 points and 13 rebounds this season and shot 50% from the field.
