Some Big Apple Raising Cane’s customers may have gotten their order served to them by the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner recently.
As part of the run-up to Saturday’s trophy presentation ceremony, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels took and filled orders at the Raising Cane’s location in Times Square.
Daniels has been named a finalist for the award and has already captured the Associated Press Player of the Year trophy, an award that is often a precursor to Heisman glory.
The Tigers triggerman has been sensational this season, even if the team’s success couldn’t match his own: 3,812 passing yards, 1,134 rushing yards and 50 total touchdowns.
He’s also projected in most mock drafts to be a top 10 NFL pick in the spring.
If Daniels wins, he’d become only the third Heisman winner all-time from LSU, after Billy Cannon and Joe Burrow.
