LSU quarterback Myles Brennan is "questionable" for Saturday’s game against South Carolina, Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron announced Monday.
Orgeron said Brennan would not have played Saturday had LSU's matchup with the Florida Gators taken place as scheduled and that his status for this week's game is still uncertain.
Brennan took a hard hit during the first half of LSU’s loss to Missouri and was able to finish the game, however he missed all of last week's practice with what Orgeron called a "significant injury."
The Tigers coach said injury is taking longer than initially expected to heal leaving Brennan's status in doubt.
If Brennan is unable to play, Orgeron said the Tigers will start either of its true freshman backups Max Johnson or TJ Finley Saturday night.
